This tasty yellow bourbon varietal was grown at the Finca Cinco Corazones, a 330-acre specialty coffee farm in the small town of Villa Rica, which sits on the edges of the border between the Pasco and Junin provinces in Peru.
Finca Cinco Corazones (Five Hearts Farm) was named as a tribute to the original owner's five children. The current owner, Shared-X, is an impact farming company based in Peru that prioritizes its farm workers, processes, and the environment. Because of Shared-X's operations, farmers have seen increased yields, a significant increase in income when compared to the national average, as well as organic and UTZ sustainable farming certifications.
